Pace Upward Bound Program

Hello Families and Students!

I hope this email finds you well and that you and your family had a restful and restorative weekend!

Pace Upward Bound is a FREE college initiative that provides college prep to students in grades 9th- 11th grade.

The program includes a Saturday program during the academic year and a six-week summer program. Participants must be able to participate in both programs. Services include:

• One-to-one academic advising/counseling

• In-person, after-school tutors (remote tutoring also available)

• SAT/ACT test fee waivers and college application fee waivers

• Campus visits and presentations

• Cultural enrichment activities including trips, events, workshops, and guest speakers

• Assistance with the college admission process and financial aid application

• Financial literacy

• Instruction in Mathematics, Science, History, English, Foreign Language and other subjects

• Standardized Test Prep

There will be a virtual information meeting on Wednesday, November 30th at 5:30pm for students and families to find out more information about Upward Bound, the application process and how this program can support the college application and search for your student.
